Growing up there was always a discussion of what to wear when we went swimming. My Grandparents lived in Florida, and every time we went of course we wanted to go to the beach and swim. Thankfully they took us to beach's that were not very crowded, so we didn't have to deal with seeing a lot of other immodestly dressed people all around us! We ended up wearing overall shorts whenever we went swimming. I really wish I had known about Modestly Yours Swimwear back then! These swimsuits are the perfect solution to your modest swimwear solution!

Modestly Yours Swimwear was started by a mother of six girls. After coming to a realization that she wanted to dress her girls modestly, they started searching for modest swimwear. They were not very successful in finding it, so they started designing swimwear themselves! Since that time, they have designed 10 different styles, and they even have a modest maternity swimsuit! The swimsuits are made out of quality swimsuit fabric, with dozens of fabrics that you can pick from!

When ordering from Modestly Yours Swimwear, they have some ready made swimsuits available, or you can send in your exact measurements, and they will custom make you one.

I was able to review a Modestly Yours Swimsuit, and they sewed a custom made swimsuit for me. I was quite excited to be able to review this swimsuit, as I have always been really curious how it works to swim in a suit designed like these. I also have boys that are growing up way too quickly that like to swim! So modesty while swimming is very important to me.

When I first opened the package and pulled the swimsuit out, I was really surprised over the quality of the fabric. It is a really nice quality, and it looks like it will hold up for years to come. The sewing looks quite professional, with all the seams being finished with a nice serged look.

I picked the Tropical Sands style, with a seam at the waistline. I also wanted a black fabric, as I know it has a more slimming look. Since I've had four babies in 6 years, my tummy definitely has a mommy look to it! I was really pleased with how well it fit, and how cute it is! We all were excited to have a reason to go swimming, so we asked some friends of ours if we could come and swim in their swimming pool. It did take a little bit getting used to swimming with a skirt on, but I felt comfortable wearing it. It didn't have a heavy feeling to it, and it was really easy getting in and out of the swimming pool in it. The suit is double layered with fabric, but I felt most comfortable in wearing a bra with the swimsuit as well.



The price on these swimsuits are excellent priced, with the standard suit being $61.00-$70.00 dollars. They also offer plus sized swimsuits, which are $80.00-$91.00 dollars depending on the style. If you want a matching swimsuit with your daughter, they make child sized swimsuits starting with size 4 on up. The child size swimsuits start at $40.00 and go on up depending on the age and style.

I would highly suggest this website if you ever need to purchase a modest swimsuit. You won't find a better place to buy them for the price and quality!
